Dr. Summerfield graduated from University of Toronto in 1986 with an Honors BSC in Nutritional Sciences.  Soon after, he received a Masters in Philosophy from University of St. Andrews, Scotland and a Masters in Human Biology from Oxford University, England. 

In 1992, Dr. Summerfield received his medical degree from University of Toronto.  He did his neurology residency at the University of Toronto where he was appointed Chief Resident.  He holds medical licenses in Canada and Utah,  and is certified by both the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. 

Dr. Summerfield welcomes consultation in all aspects of adult neurology as well as referrals for Nerve Conduction/EMG Studies.
